Even a child who opens a lemonade stand (though they may not know it) has a business model
. The example of a child at a lemonade stand would be a, "Cutting out the Middle Man," business model. Meaning the child, the manufacture, sells directly to its consumer, rather than using a distributor, or sales agent. By thus cutting out the middle man the child can reduce the price of the lemonade making it more affordable (which generally makes it more desirable) to the consumer.

Selling to the Hispanic market

handshakeoverflags32166713.jpg

With the multicultural denominations we have in America today, marketing must find new ways to include the interest, backgrounds, and needs of everyone.

Why is it important in America to know how to sell to the Hispanic market? Because we have the fourth largest population of Hispanics in the world! Find that amazing? In 2004, 40.4 million Hispanics lived in the U.S., 14 percent of the total population! They represent a combined 686 billion dollar purchasing power. (See Hispanic Trends: a People in Motion, a 2005 report by the Pew Hispanic Center.)

Hispanic does not refer to a race but rather to a common language and generally a culture. Though it is common in the US to refer to Hispanics as, "Mexicans," this is not always the case. You will find in your business that you will have Mexican customers, Bolivian customers, Colombian, Spanish, Brazilian, and so on.

Predictive dialers- are they right for you?

laptop30349514.jpg

If you are looking for a dialer system that uses live agents to deliver messages with live presentation and dialog, the predictive dialer may be right for you.

The predictive dialer is a computerized system that will automatically dial a list of names programmed in to the system. When a connection is established, it will connect to the agent assigned to sales or other campaigns. These dialer systems are widely used in call center environments.

The reason for the name predictive dialer is the actions the dialer exhibits when it has more call attempts (dials) outstanding than it has agents taking the calls. Basically, matching the forecast of number of available agents vs. the number of available called parties. Thus, increasing productivity largely in dialing rates and agents, leaving out the prospect of human error.

So pull your team of co-workers, or look for people who specialize in marketing outside of your group, and pull them in, and get thinking.
