Do You Know How To Use Reverse Marketing?
Do you see what we are talking about exactly? Your marketing strategy is to enhance something that the customer already has. Really it is like using reverse psychology on people because you aren't doing a hard sell, you are really approaching them in a different way saying "you have this, if you do this and this to it, you will be able to get this from it." Reverse marketing is simply a new approach to old methods of marketing and talking to the customer in a very different way. The goal is to be supportive of the customers and they will end up coming to you. You will end up providing them with products that match their needs and not products that are always created to fix a problem. A number of companies will use emails and other things to talk to their customer in a different way and form relationships rather than trying to hard sell them all the time. This way the customer starts to look at your company as a resource and they will turn to you in times of need instead of other companies that are always out there to sell them something. Is it more about building relationships and figuring out how to become loyal to a company rather than trying to get as many customers as you can. The customer is the person that defines an issue and then does all the "marketing" work to find your company instead of the other way around. How can you get started with reverse marketing? The first way is to start writing helpful articles or blogs that your customers will use. How about creating eHow videos and other things? This is a great way to show the customer you are here to help, not necessarily sell them things all the time. It is a good idea to put in a small "plug" for your company at the end of the article or at the end of your video just to remind them that your company is helpful and where they can go to find additional information that is useful to them. Demonstrating your knowledge and usefulness to the customer will be much more effective than trying to use pay per click ads and other things to tell the customer to go to your site. When people can see you are educated, they have an easier time trusting you and you will see the benefits to reverse marketing! |
