How can you start attracting more customers?

When it comes to building a successful business, you need to be able to find customers. How can you find customers? It comes down to your ability to create a unique product but to also have a good marketing strategy to educate your customers. Think outside the box and look for different marketing tactics that will gain attention from your niche market. Everyone does a lot of the same marketing techniques so you must look for new ways to attract more customers. Here are some great tips to help you attract more customers and to build loyalty with them:

1. How can you bring in more media publicity? The media loves it when people are outrageous and they also love a good "city" story. This means they love to support companies that are rich in history. Can you bring about some attention when it comes to your company's history? Look for different ways to get the press to listen to you and hopefully they will do a story on your company or at least feature you in the paper when they are doing product reviews and other things. Another thought is to look at the Guinness Book of Records and to see if there is something you can do to get your company featured in it.
2. Market to your existing customers. What are you doing to show your existing customers that you appreciate them? These customers need to feel like you care about them and it will help to build loyalty. Perhaps you can send out a "thank-you" mailer that offers a discount on their next order or you can give them a free product. One other way to get your customers to contact you is by providing them with a new product before it is released to the rest of the public. This is a great way to boost your reputation and to really build respect with your customers.
3. Can you get listed with local schools and a local audience? This is always nice and it's a great way to show people that you are invested in the city. Talk to your local high school and other organizations to find out if you can do a short pitch during a game or some other type of event. They also need fundraising dollars and this is a great way for you to build your reputation with your local audience.
4. Joint ventures are always a great way to find new customers. How about partnering with another company to send out promotional materials. This happens all the time with food companies and organizations like furniture stores. It's a great way for both companies to gain a lot of exposure and it allows you to find a new niche market that you may not have been able to market to without the name of the other company attached to it.
5. Use social media to target your audience. This is a great way to send out quick promotional offers and to build a strong online following. When people see your social media page, they will join up if you offer specials and drawings. This is a great way to really bring in new customers and to boost your online reputation. Post often in order to let your customers see your online presence. If you don't post often, you will struggle to build customers and to maintain followers and all the hard work will be for nothing.
