So you have a great business going and you are excited to get customers pouring in. But, how do you get them? You think to yourself, how did the other guy get started? How did he get all his customers? Well you know, it was the telemarketing list he rented. But, renting the most profitable telemarketing list did not come without a few bumps and bruises.

After using the names given, create a spreadsheet of sorts.
This way you can track the reliability and usability of each list. There may be times that you will have repeat consumers, or your competitor may have called a few of the names. But, you will know if others are using the list, because the consumer will tell you.

Renting telemarketing lists differs from purchasing a list being that you rent it for one-time-only use, unless you rent it for several uses. There are benefits both from renting and purchasing names. Single use rentals are less pricey but, they can only be used one time, several use rentals means you can use the list several times, but you do not own the names. If it is send in a list through email, or download often times the data can be transferred into a format that makes it easier for your tracking. Also, it can be sent to several computers using a computer sever. Therefore keeping all your calls computerized and easily documented.

Renting profitable telemarketing lists can take a little time. Research and gathering the data will make the time your telemarketers are on the phone profitable. Who wants to pay a telemarketing an hourly rate, and then also pay per name for a telemarketing list that has already been called over and over?
