5. A complete overview of the target market and any applicable demographic information.
6. A personnel roster of all marketing employees and anyone else who will be working on the marketing plan.
7. A detailed overview of all competition and any applicable market conditions.

Your marketing plan should be based on information that is gained from doing market research. Vague guesswork or assumptions have no place in an effective marketing plan. - Know that it won't be permanent-Business owners need to keep in mind that their marketing plan will be a dynamic plan. You should never assume that your marketing plan will carry you through the years. The needs of your customers and your market will change which will require you to make changes to your marketing plan in order to respond appropriately and keep your business viable and current. This is the only way to have a truly effective marketing plan.
