Mobile marketing matters
1. People own mobile devices. From the very old to the very young, most people have a mobile device of one kind or another. The use and existence of mobile devices has spread over the past few years, and grown, and will continue to do so. In addition to cell phones, there are smart phones, music players with wifi and 3G. There are a number of mobile devices available, and people of all ages use them. They are extremely personal devices, with personal ring tones, personal background images, personal apps, favorites, etc. 2. Mobile data usage is on the rise. While most mobile use a few years back was just talking on the phone, this is no longer the case. There is now texting, picture messaging, social networking, book reader apps, games, applications, search functions and browsers, and so much more. Data usage is on the rise, people are using mobile devices for sharing data of all kinds. 3. Mobile internet usage is taking off. The use of mobile devices to access the internet and more is on the rise. Data packages are getting less expensive, and people are enjoying the convenience. Most mobile devices now have wifi or are 3G, from readers, to music players, to smart phones of all kinds, internet is available, and being accessed on these devices even more than on a PC or Macintosh computer. 4. Smartphone adoption is high. These days expense is pretty much the only factor that keeps people from having a smart phone. They are extremely convenient. They offer internet search, applications, music players, and so much more. They are all the rage, and for good reason, so smart phone adoption is high, and with that, more data usage, and more internet usage.
