When you are forming a partnership it is a good idea to prepare a written partnership agreement. This is used to help solve problems between the partners that good communication and comprise can not solve, but it is also used to help protect the partners from illegal activities that another partner may contribute. Partnership agreements can be made between as many people as you want to have partners in your business, it can also be made between two companies that are pooling their resources together to increase their business.

[If interest will be paid on loans from partners]
7. Management Duties and Restrictions
[Who has what responsibilities. i.e. President, Treasurer, etc and what the duties and restrictions each partner has]
8. Banking
[Either partner can sign checks or all partners need to sign checks]
9. Books
[Where the books will be kept, home or office, what accounting method the company will be using, whether the company is going to use a fiscal year or a calendar year, and when the books will be balanced. You might also include in this section whether or not you will be using a CPA or doing it yourself]
Voluntary Termination
[Under what conditions the partnership can be terminated and how the termination will be carried out]
Death
[What happens to the partnership if a partner dies. i.e. sell the business, have next of kin take over, etc.]

[How disputes will be handled. For example going to mediation or using arbitration]
