On October 5, 2010 EIZO Nanao Corporation made a big announcement that will impact hospitals, researchers, businesses, educational institutions and many others. They introduced the 17-inch FlexScan T1751 LCD monitor.

Like several other devices on the market, this flex-scan monitor is fully touch-screen. You can simply use your fingers and drag, scroll, pinch, tap, and move the screen into any position or place where you need it to be. Using the new Windows 7 technology, it provides a modern way to accomplish your business or personal needs.

Back in September a 23 inch screen was released but this was designed more for personal use or for places that want large screens. The 17 inch screen is small enough to stick into a closet when it's not in use and its great for businesses and schools that do not have a lot of room for a traditional PC. For the medical industry, it has a CE Medical Device Directive, which integrates well into hospital systems and reduces the headache that occurs. It has a resolution of 1280 x 1024 Vertical alignment and it can be viewed from multiple angles so several people sitting in a classroom or office environment will not need to shift seats or move around to try and see the screen.

It's fairly bright as well since it comes with 180 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 1500:1. You can adjust it as needed for people that are unable to see it clearly during presentations or if you have problems with outdoor lighting getting in the way. The touchscreen actually has a sensor so it will adjust to the lighting settings you are currently in.

With touch-screen systems, the stands have to be very durable as they are feeling pressure not only to hold up the screen but to hold up when people are pushing on them. The EZIO 17 inch flex scan comes with a very unique stand that is being called the "LaidBack". This stand was designed for touchscreens and it will be able to tilt as needed. The LaidBack stand can help for a number of comfort needs like being able to touch the screen while standing right above it.You also are able to avoid hurting your arm when you move to touch the screen as it can comfortably move around for you.

One concern you may have with touchscreens is how they react to the way you touch them. There are many times when touchscreens do not actually react to you when you touch them but the EZIO 17 inch flex scan monitor is highly reactive to your touch. This means no needing to press hard or to press several times to get it to where you need it to be. You can actually have a glove on and you won't have any problems getting the screen to where you want it to be.

The touchscreen is reactive and it's not going to have scratches on it because it is reinforced with a glass protection that keeps it safe. This extra glass is made to be extra durable so that it can be able to withstand all of the things it will go through in multiple environments like hospitals or public places where people rely on the monitor to get them around a building or to order things or book appointments.

The overall design of the EZIO 17 inch flex scan monitor is pretty sleek and elegant looking. You have your choice of an all black or two-two cabinet for the monitor to have it match your needs. It comes with a 3 year warranty and it's ready for order now.
