Satellite TV Program

TV is such a common thing these days. Say there are to kids playing with each other at one of the kids' house. They are bored so the one says, "Lets watch TV." Pause. There was not even a question such as "Do you have TV?" TV is just so common that people expect that you will have it. They do not ask where it is, they just say lets watch.

This is ironic when you think about it because TV was nonexistent a hundred years ago and even after it was invented, it was rare. Not many people had it. Now it is widespread. Many people have it in their homes and some people have more than one.

TVs can be found in restaurants, airports, gyms, homes, stores etc. They are everywhere. What used to be some special thing is as common as toothpaste.

What is more, there is also something else that is becoming as common as your toothbrush. Not quite that common, but it is becoming pretty common. This is satellite TV. Normal TV in a bigger and better form. You can now watch not only the normal channels, but hundreds more.

It is amazing really. Soon satellite TV will be replaced by another bigger and better TV technology. There is no end to the technological growth. It is astounding.

Satellite TV in and of itself was astounding. It is amazing that a satellite way up in the sky can send off signals that are read by an antenna that is connected to your house and then transmitted and sent to your receiver so that they can be displayed on your TV. Wow.

So why is TV so special that we focus so much on bigger and better technology? Why do people love TV so much that they are willing to spend a lot of money to get the newest technology installed in their homes?

It is probably not for the look of the TV. If a TV had no value other than its looks, no one would buy it. Who would want a big box or a big flat screen sitting in their living room as a decoration. People only do have this because of what is inside of the TV. Not because the TV is so "pretty."

So what is inside of the TV? TV programs duh! All the programs that you can choose from are incredible. There used to by one program and now there are hundreds. And these hundreds are made possible through satellite TV.

Satellite TV programs are better than ever before. You have such a variety to choose from. There are not only hundreds but all the hundreds are different from each other. Who would have ever thought that there would be so many choices.
When it first came out there was the choice of one channel and not too many programs. It was never hard to decide what to watch because you just had to watch what was there. It probably saved a lot of arguments. The only thing to argue over would be whether to have the TV on or off.
Now people not only argue over whether to have it on or off, but they argue over which program to watch. If there are children present they probably scream for the Disney Channel. If there are men present they probably want the news or a sports channel. Women probably want the new or something girls like a chick flick that may be playing.

There are so many options. What will it be in the future it makes you wonder? If it has gone from one channel with a few programs to hundreds of channels with hundreds more programs, what will it be in the future? Thousands? Millions?

Which ever TV program you want to watch, you can probably watch it with satellite TV. It is the newest and greatest and the options are endless. You cannot miss your favorite shows with it.
