On site massages motivate employees

massage37471736.jpg Are you looking for new ways to improve the health of your employees? If you have installed an on-site exercise facility and you still aren't seeing big improvements with the employees health concerns, there are some other things you will need to try out in order to improve the health of your employees. One thing some companies have tried out and have found to make a big improvement is offering on-site massages.

Massages help to release stress and tension. This is vital in the working environment as stress and tension runs wild. By providing the employees with a chance to have a little relaxation at work, you are showing them that you are concerned about their health and you have a desire to help them feel better.

To start offering on-site massages to your employees, you need to understand how they work. Unlike a normal massage where you go into a special room, take off your clothes, and have a licensed massage therapist offer you a nice massage, a workplace massage is a little different. Typically the workplace massages are offered by a machine and not a person. Your employees will not need to undress to have the massage as they will sit in a chair and a machine will massage them. Employees simply sit in the chair and relax while the machine works on their tight muscles and helps them to loosen up.

In order for the chair massages to work and to get the employees to use them, purchase at least 3-5 of them so multiple people can use them at the same time. You can set limits on the chairs so that the employee can go in and have a 15 minute massage and then head back to work. Use leather chairs and have disinfectant wipes that the employees are required to use to clean the chair after they have sat on it and had the massage. This helps to prevent any germs from being spread throughout the office.

So what makes the at-work massage do great? The chair massages focus on areas where your employees hold stress in their bodies like their necks and backs. It doesn't do full-body massages but they do provide you with a great opportunity to have a tight muscle released and to feel reduced stress. Look for the chairs that also have arm rest with vibrating action because this helps to reduce pain in the hands, wrists, and arms where a lot of employees deal with carpal tunnel syndrome.

What else can massages do to help your employees feel better? Massages also help to relieve tension headaches. Your employees will feel rested and rejuvenated and this will help them to work harder and to have a stronger desire and commitment to the company. Encourage your employees to use the massage machines often as it can provide them with a reduced stress load and they are less likely to have as many health issues and frustration throughout the workday.

A massage chair will cost you $299 - $1800 or more depending upon the chair that you choose. While the costs may seem high for the chair, they actually have a lot of savings compared to the amount of money you can lose due to employees taking time off or employees using health insurance constantly.

Workplace massages are cost-effective and your entire staff will benefit from it. Look into customizable massage chairs that also have relaxing music or aromatherapy benefits included. This is a great way to reduce your workplace stress load and to reduce fatigue and boredom. People that are stress free are likely to be better workers and they are often creative thinkers.
