When marketing a product there are a few things to take into consideration. First there is the market you are trying to target and what products are you trying to target them into buying. After you have figured that out you need to decide what colors are most effective for marketing your product. Colors play a big role in marketing products. If you are trying to sell you product to the older market say retirement age. The most effective colors for marketing a product to them probably won't be the big bright bold colors, but more of the soft pastel colors. Colors make a lasting impression on people. So you want to make sure to get it the right colors for the most effectiveness when marketing your product.

Colors have a lasting effect on people. People relate colors to other things that have happened in their lives. People also think a color represents something, for example red and blue usually represent hot and cold. So, what colors are most effective for marketing your product? You should try to take in, and use ideas that help represent your product with the colors you use.

Some major companies will spend millions of dollars on deciding what colors are most effective when marketing their products. They know that the color they use in marketing their products are very important and affect the way that their product will be perceived.

There are different colors that can make many people recognize things the same way, for instance black usually means some one in power (man in power is usually wears a black suite), or it can be slimming (most women love black for this reason), or even sad (hence the reason people wear black to funerals or to morn). Red usually means energy (be sure not to over use red cause then you will be putting in to much energy). Pink or any light pastel colors mean calming and white mean pure or simple. Green means money, or nature. Yellow means cheerful or bright, orange means loud or flashy. Purple means royalty. And brown mean secure or familiarity.

Combining different colors with the different moods you want to portray will give you the most effectiveness for marketing your product. For instance if you are marketing a spa you would not want to use bold flashy colors but instead you would want more calming colors and earth tones to make people more relaxed. This would be the most effective for marketing a spa. But say you are marketing a dance club or something along those lines were you are trying to attract energy and spontaneous behavior you are going to want to use the flashy colors because those colors are the most effective way to market your product. You want to make sure not to over do your colors or under do them. The colors will be the first thing that grab some ones attention and make them stop to take a look. You want to make sure that the colors you choose are the most effective for marketing your product. Otherwise you will get the opposite reaction and people will be in the wrong mood and won't want to purchase your product because the colors are not effective enough. But if you ad in the right colors when marketing your product, your colors will be effective and will get you the responses you want when marketing your product. Be careful when planning your color scheme. Make sure you get the colors that will be the most effective for marketing your product.
