What makes a landing page great?

When you are using a good pay per click marketing campaign it is important that you have a great landing page. This is what will be used to convince your customer to purchase the product and to be able to provide them with the right type of information in a timely manner.

Use several pay-per-click ads to test their landing pages. When you search for them and you see the landing pages you are taken to, are you directed to them and do you find that the information on the site is informative and that it is what you are looking for? If you find that the landing pages take you to other places than you know it is not a good page to turn to. You have to create a landing page that will correspond to your pay per click ads using the right keywords.

What makes a landing page so valuable is what it brings to the customer. If they are driven there from an advertisement, most of them will spend less than 7 seconds on the page and if it doesn't interest them, they will move on. This means you have paid for a click that was worthless. A landing page has to hold their attention and it must be able to convince them to purchase the item on your site right away. As long as it has this intriguing information up front you won't have any problems getting the payment you need from the pay per click campaign.

Revamp your website in order to make it user friendly and to hold the information that the customers want to find. If you can do this, it will be much easier for you to acquire the leads you need. Some companies will turn to professional web design organizations to help them with their landing pages. This is because they often can optimize your site and will be able to bring you more traffic and a stronger web presence.

Sit down and plan out what the topic needs to be for the website. Then you can start adding keywords that correspond to the topic. Don't go overboard on the keywords or the landing page will not be valuable at all. People want to look for landing pages that have a balance of information and not one that is cluttered with too many keywords and not enough valuable information. As you are writing the text for the website take a good look at what your customer wants. You always need to write from the perspective of the customer in order to create a landing page that doesn't cause them to move on.

A landing page also needs to be able to integrate with the rest of your companies information. This way it won't look out of place and it won't be confusing to the customers when they come to your website. Always add a contact us section and a call to action statement to really get the customers to do something. By doing this and adding relevant keywords your customers will have an easier time finding the page in the first place but also knowing what to do once they are on the page.

To help the search engines index your new webpage you need to take the time to add it to your index. This way the algorithms will find it but you will also help your customers find it as well. Consistently update the information on your website. If you do this, the search engines will reward you greatly for it. It also helps you to have the search engine spiders come to your site often. A landing page is important and you do need to focus on creating a good one if you want to have success with online marketing.
