Acuvue 2 Colours Contact Lenses

On the edge of optometry, Acuvue was the world's first disposable contact lens; now they are on the edge of fashion with ten different eye colors to choose from. The best part is that you don't have to have poor vision in order to wear Acuvue 2 Colours. Anyone can wear these lenses. Acuvue 2 Colours are perfect for

- People who like to change and update their personal style
- People who like to stand out in a crowd and turn heads
- People who already wear contact lenses and want to have fun with color.
- People who want to have better vision and want contact lenses that are comfortable and beautiful
- People who already have 20/20 vision but want to have a fun, new look

Acuvue 2 Colours contact lenses are made for comfort. They are ultra thin and composed mostly of water. They are perfect for daily wear and can be worn for up to two weeks, or these lenses can be worn continuously around the clock for up to six nights.

Choice of Colors
There are ten beautiful colors to choose from with Acuvue 2 Colours. No matter what your eye color is, you can choose between the seven opaque shades: Sapphire Blue, Deep Blue, Pearl Gray, Jade Green, Hazel Brown, Warm Honey, and Chestnut Brown. These seven shades will completely change any eye color.

The opaque lenses almost completely block light. There is a clear area in the middle of each lens that allows color through to your pupil while masking your natural iris color to show off the new eye color.

If you have light eyes, there are three enhancer colors you can choose from: Ocean Blue, Aquamarine, and Emerald Green. These three colors are great for enhancing light eyes. If you have brown or another dark shade of eye color, these enhancer lenses won't be effective on you. These colors are nearly transparent to subtly brighten a natural, light eye color. This effect is too subtle to be noticeable on dark eyes.

Note that the enhancer lenses have a full circle of color that covers the pupil to make the color appearance more natural and to prevent an area of the eye from not being colored, if the color stops and the natural iris starts. This does not mean that these lenses will change the color of everything that you see when wearing them. The color is virtually transparent so your eyes will adjust after several minutes and your vision should be unaffected. However, some people have noticed a change in vision because the amount of light that enters the eye is altered. If this happens, talk to your eye doctor.

If you've tried Acuvue 2 Colours contact lenses previously, you might have noticed that they names of the colors are different. Some of the names of the colors were recently changed in order to help you get a better image of what the colors look like. A descriptive word was added to each of the previous color names to help.

Prescriptions
Acuvue 2 Colours are available for people don't need any vision correction at all and for people with prescriptions between +6.00D and -9.00D in 0.25D and -0.25 integrals.

Because contact lenses are medical devices, you do have to have them fitted to your eyes and you must have a prescription from an eye doctor to get Acuvue 2 Colours, even if your vision doesn't need to be corrected. Call your eye doctor and set up an eye exam so it can be determined if Acuvue 2 Colours are right for you.

Try Acuvue 2 Colours for everyday wear or get them for a special occasion!
