Consider the investment amount so you know what you need to break even and then set a goal as to how much you would like to make off the direct mail piece.

When you are using a direct mail campaign you always need to focus on using action words in the campaign. The action words will inspire people to do something about what you send out to them. You want them to go to your website or to call you or do something that will give you sales or some type of response from the customer.

Always go over your mailing list and ensure that you are using quality leads. You need to check on the addresses and zip codes so that you can send out the pieces to people that are still at the current address and want to receive your items. It may be a wise idea to have customers update their addresses online by using your email newsletters and other things. This way you can be sure that you have the most recent contact information on file.
