In most cases, you will need to plan a year or two before you will actually see results from implementing Six Sigma to your organization. - DMADV

Both programs have the goal to figure out what the problems are and to then going about solving these problems.DMAIC is a program that follows the structure of Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control where DMADV is a program that follows Define, Measure, Analyze, Design, and Verify. Each program are created to provide you with a method of how you can reduce defects for the company and to work on increasing the productivity for the organization and improving your relationships with your customers.

No matter which method you use with Six Sigma, it is vital that you have your staff focused on how they can implement the program and to make sure they are not showing resistance to it. When people are resistant to a new program, it will lead to failure for any company.
