How to choose an MP3 device
As you are out looking at the different MP3 player options, you need to think about what is important to you. This is because you can find MP3 players in several different ways and different options.
After you have decided what you want to do with it, it is a good idea to jump on he Internet and check out what the newer options are available. This is relatively simple, however with all the information out there, it can appear to be a little overwhelming. MP3 players come in several different sizes, shapes, colors and abilities. The main thing to look at though will not be the shape and size as much as it will be the memory size. The memory is the first thing most people will think about. This is because the size of the memory dictates how much music you will be able to store on your MP3 player. The memory can come in several different sizes. If you purchase anything less than 1GB you are probably going to be wishing you have gotten more. 1GB will hold around 250 songs. That was a great deal of songs a few years ago. However, with the technology today, you can easily get up to 40 GB'S. As you think about the differences of the MP3 players available you will also want to think about what times you will be more than likely using the MP3 player. If you will be using the MP3 player primarily for exercising you may want to stick with a smaller size. However if you are interested in having the most music on a device, the larger size will not be a question for your. When it comes to ease of use and selection, the screen size or the button use may be something you are more concerned with. Some of the MP3 minis do not have a screen at all; in fact they only have buttons. For some people they like to be able to see their options. Others really do not mind as long as they can move back and forth through their music. This is where you will need to decide what you want. It is also important to look at the battery life of an MP3 device. The reason is that sometimes it is not convenient to stop and charge your MP3 player. Many of the MP3 players have batteries, others are charged by simply being plugged into your computer. Checking the compatibility will be the last thing that you will need to look at for the use of the MP3 player. You will need to be able to run the software that comes with the MP3 player from your computer. The computer is where you will be downloading your music. This is very important. This information should make it easier to choose your next MP3 device. So have fun shopping around and enjoy the music you hear through your new MP3 player. |
