Windows and Mac compatible formatting for computers
There are. In fact there are some great programs out there that run on both systems. These programs would be the ones that will run both on Windows systems and Mac systems. The thing is that there are different languages used to make these systems do what is needed to run one thing or another on those platforms.
One type of programs, or software products that is very well know to have compatible formatting is Java.Java is a simple platform that is independent in orientation and programming. It is used for many different uses, mainly web workings. With Java available for many different operating systems, you will find that the compatibility it uses goes further than with just Mac and Windows. There is also compatibility with Linux. The reason this platform and programming works, is because the ease of use in the programming essence. All source code is written in plain text code to begin with. These codes all end in the .java extensions. From that point you can go through the point when the source files are then transferred and compiled into .class files extensions. Therefore, the .class files are not native to your processor, regardless of the type. Therefore, the program will then contain bytecodes. These codes can be read by either of the operating systems. From this the java will then run the programs with an instance of Java virtual machine. Ok, so down to the most basic explanation of this. The programs are taken in with the format they are, turned java, turned class, then opened with the compatible program. Thus making it easier for people to use the programs available regardless of being a PC or Windows use, a Mac user, or even a Linux user.
Finally keep in mind that using programs that have a compatible format for both Mac and Windows may be slower than you would like. This is due to the transfer process. Though, if you want that ability, you will be happy to except that there are some limitations. Windows and Mac compatible formatting for computers is no longer a thing of the future. It is here and now, and will be here in the future.
